Privacy Policy plain-language notice
Proteryx is a software platform for trading workflow management. Therefore, we may process information needed to create accounts, support subscriptions, connect user-selected tools, troubleshoot broker workflows, route user-configured alerts, support users, improve security, and operate the platform.
1. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Proteryx collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains personal information. It applies when you visit our website, use the app, create an account, subscribe to a plan, contact support, use trading automation features, connect third-party services, or interact with related Proteryx tools.
By using Proteryx, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the website, app, or services.
2. Information we collect
We may collect personal information directly from you, automatically from your device, and from third-party services you connect or use with Proteryx.
2.1 Account information
Account information may include your name, email address, username, password or authentication data, account preferences, subscription status, support history, onboarding progress, and other information you provide when creating or managing an account.
2.2 Support information
If you contact us, we may collect your message, email address, screenshots, screen recordings, error text, broker or platform details, symbol details, account route notes, and other information needed to respond.
2.3 Communication information
Also, we may collect your communication preferences, support requests, marketing preferences, message delivery status, and related interaction data.
3. Device, usage, and log information
When you visit Proteryx or use the app, technical systems may collect information about your browser, device, IP address, time zone, approximate location, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, links clicked, session activity, timestamps, errors, logs, and how you interact with the service.
This information helps secure the platform, understand site performance, detect technical problems, measure usage, improve onboarding, and reduce fraud or abuse.
4. Billing and subscription information
When you use a promo code, subscribe, renew, cancel, or update billing, we may collect subscription-related information such as plan type, checkout status, billing email, payment status, invoice history, renewal date, cancellation status, and tax or receipt details.
Payment card details are generally processed by third-party payment processors, such as Stripe or another provider shown at checkout. As a result, Proteryx does not need to store full payment card numbers to manage your subscription.
5. Trading workflow and connected service data
If you connect tools or use trading workflow features, Proteryx may process data needed to operate those workflows. This may include broker connection metadata, account identifiers, authorization tokens, API connection status, alert messages, order-related settings, routing settings, copy trading settings, portfolio groups, bracket settings, position-related information, working order information, logs, and technical diagnostics.
For example, this information may help route alerts, display account summaries, support copy trading, show positions, process bracket settings, troubleshoot connection problems, and maintain platform reliability.
However, Proteryx does not provide trading signals, research, analysis, investment advice, or financial advice. Trading decisions and connected account settings remain your responsibility.
6. How we use personal information
We use personal information to operate, secure, maintain, and improve Proteryx. In addition, we use it to communicate with users, process subscriptions, provide support, and manage platform workflows.

These may include hosting providers, payment processors, analytics providers, support tools, email providers, SMS providers, security tools, broker API providers, connected platforms, and professional advisors.
In addition, information may be shared when required by law, when responding to lawful requests, when enforcing our terms, when protecting rights and security, or during a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some analytics, advertising, or tracking tools may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under certain privacy laws.
8. Cookies, pixels, and tracking technologies
Proteryx may use cookies, log files, pixels, tags, scripts, and similar technologies. These tools can help the site remember preferences, keep sessions secure, measure traffic, understand page performance, improve marketing, and detect abuse.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling cookies may affect login, checkout, app access, security, and platform features.
9. Analytics and advertising
Proteryx may use analytics and advertising tools to understand how visitors use the website, measure campaigns, improve content, and reach users who may be interested in Proteryx.
These tools may process device data, cookies, page views, referral sources, and interaction data. Also, you may be able to opt out of some analytics or advertising features through browser settings, device settings, ad network tools, or privacy preference tools offered by those providers.

However, no website, app, network, broker connection, API, or storage system can be guaranteed to be fully secure. Therefore, you are responsible for keeping your account credentials, devices, broker credentials, API keys, and connected services secure.
11. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide Proteryx, manage accounts, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce terms, maintain security, and keep business records.
Some records may be retained after account cancellation when required for billing, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, legal, security, or dispute purposes.
12. Privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain uses of personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of certain targeted advertising or data sharing practices.

12.1 European users
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, and restriction rights.
12.2 California and U.S. state privacy rights
Some U.S. state privacy laws may provide rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain data uses. We will review requests according to the laws that apply to Proteryx and to your request.
13. International transfers
Proteryx may process and store information in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. If you access Proteryx from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws.
14. Age restriction
Proteryx is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child provided personal information to Proteryx, contact us at admin@proteryx.com.
15. Do Not Track signals
Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, Proteryx does not currently respond to them in a uniform way.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update it, we may change the “Last updated” date, post the updated policy on this page, or provide notice through the website, app, email, or another reasonable method.
Your continued use of Proteryx after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
